During the initial appointment, we’ll simply have a conversation to get to know you, your concerns, your history, and what brings you in. You’ll be met with compassion and without judgment. We’ll talk about your symptoms, your goals, and whether therapy, medication, or a combination of both might be helpful. Most importantly, you’re in control.

Yes, your privacy is our priority. All services are completely confidential and protected by federal and state laws, including HIPAA regulations. What you share with us stays between you and your provider. We are committed to creating a safe, respectful space where you can speak freely and receive care without judgment.

Yes, we provide compassionate age-appropriate care for children (ages 6 and up), teens, and adults.

That’s completely okay and we respect your decision. We understand that everyone’s journey is different. If you prefer not to start medications, we can begin with behavioral therapy and focus on building skills and strategies to support your mental wellness.

We’ll reassess together at each appointment to ensure you’re making progress and feeling supported. If at any point you feel ready to explore medication as an option, we’ll revisit that conversation with care, respect, and no pressure. You are in control of your treatment; we’re here to walk beside you with compassion every step of the way.

A Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is a highly trained advanced practice registered nurse who holds a master’s or doctoral degree in psychiatric care. They are qualified to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals and families dealing with mental health disorders or those at risk of developing them. Their expertise includes prescribing medications and providing psychotherapy.

We accept a range of insurances in the State of Florida.

For a telehealth appointment, you’ll need a reliable internet connection and either a computer with a microphone and speakers or a mobile phone. While a computer is preferred, a mobile phone can work as a backup. Ensure your device is fully charged or plugged in.

Find a quiet, well-lit space where you won’t be interrupted. Using headphones and ensuring proper lighting will allow your provider to see and hear you clearly.

Additionally, download any required apps or software in advance and set up your account or login as instructed by your provider.
